Job Description

Sr. Software Engineer - Advanced Security Operations

This Sr. Software Engineer will support advanced security operations development by designing and integrating tools to assist in development activities. A deep understanding of the customer's mission, dataflow, and tooling is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a project from inception to delivery in the advanced security operations domain, including problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions for operational use.
Required Skills:
  • Production-grade software development experience in Python.
  • Experience within the advanced security operations developer domain developing tools for operational use.
  • Experience with development of AI systems and customizing of AI models.
  • Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
  • Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working as a lead for a development team.
  • Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs and LLM Training).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.

Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 16 years without degree

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
