Job Description
- Support the development, procurement, sustainment, and modification of aircraft systems, subsystems, components, and equipment.
- Provide systems engineering expertise in areas such as system design and integration, manufacturing, quality assurance, airworthiness, industrial engineering, and configuration/data management.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of key systems engineering documentation, including system specifications, requirements documents, and systems engineering plans.
- Translate requirements into contractor deliverables such as software development plans, technical sub-specifications, and procedures, ensuring consistent application of systems engineering processes across all phases of development, production, and sustainment.
- Deliver engineering and technical support across system and subsystem design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Define and manage technical processes, requirements, and system interfaces, supporting air system and avionics development initiatives.
- Contribute to system reviews and studies to help establish system requirements, performance parameters, and integration with related acquisition elements.
- Assist in the development and execution of configuration, data, and risk management processes and plans.

Required Experience
One of the following combinations of education/experience:

- Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline and a minimum of 15 years of relevant technical or professional experience, including at least 5 years supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) -OR-
- Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline plus a Master's degree in engineering (Master's degree is not required to be ABET-accredited), and a minimum of 12 years of relevant technical or professional experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD.
- Ability to apply an understanding of DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve the performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems.
- U.S. citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required.
