Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Support Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide high-level project support and coordination for our customer's portfolio, ensuring effective milestone tracking, financial monitoring, and seamless cross-project collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Tracking and reporting on project milestones and deliverables across the customer portfolio
- Monitoring financial activity and balances for assigned projects
- Coordinating activities and responsibilities among project participants and stakeholders
- Preparing and delivering concise read-ahead briefs and status updates to the customer
- Organizing and facilitating meetings, agendas, and follow-ups for customer-related activities
- Supporting cross-project coordination to help achieve customer objectives
- Serving as a key resource for project support and organizational planning
- Promoting clear and professional communication with the customer and project teams
Required Clearance:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
- Candidate must have an active Top Secret Clearance
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related technical/business field
- 15+ years of relevant experience in project support, coordination, or portfolio management
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting for projects or portfolios
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management and financial tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
- Experience preparing briefings and status reports for senior stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Professional demeanor and strong customer-facing communication skills
- Experience supporting government or defense-related projects is a plus
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Engineering)
- Advanced experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation
- Familiarity with government or defense financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience tracking and managing project expenditures, balances, and funding allocations
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to stakeholders and leadership
- Experience supporting audits and financial reviews
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies or issues proactively
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings
