Part-Time Technical Sourcer (DoD/Cleared Talent)

Precise Systems is seeking a Part-Time Technical Sourcer to support the identification and engagement of highly specialized, cleared technical talent across Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community programs. This role is responsible for building proactive pipelines of hard-to-find, fully cleared candidates and partnering with Recruiting to support mission-critical hiring needs.

This position requires a sourcing professional with demonstrated success in engaging passive candidates, creative sourcing methodologies, and cleared recruiting environments.

This position will allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proactive pipelines of cleared technical candidates aligned to current and future hiring needs, including proposal (BD) efforts
• Source for specialized skill sets.
• Utilize advanced sourcing strategies, research, social and professional networking platforms, referral generation, and niche talent communities
• Conduct targeted outreach to passive candidates, including off-hours engagement as needed to align with candidate availability
• Pre-screen candidates for technical qualifications, clearance level, and program alignment prior to recruiter engagement
• Partner with Recruiters to refine sourcing strategies and ensure alignment with position requirements
• Provide market intelligence related to talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive landscape within cleared environments as requested

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of technical sourcing experience within DoD, Intelligence Community, and government contracting environments
• Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates with active clearances (TS/SCI required; FS Polygraph preferred)
• Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates for highly specialized, hard-to-fill technical roles
• Experience supporting multiple agencies or programs, including but not limited to DoD, NSA, CIA, or related mission partners
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced search techniques, and alternative sourcing methodologies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage pipelines across multiple requisitions

Desired Experience

• Experience supporting proposal-driven pipeline development (BD support)
• Familiarity with DoD program structures and contract-driven hiring requirements
• Exposure to AI-powered sourcing tools or recruiting technologies
• Prior experience influencing hiring strategies through talent market insights

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position, if annualized, is $84,704 to $127,060 (USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
