KBR is seeking a Senior to Expert Master Scheduler / Master Planning SME to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This exciting and rewarding position will be directly supporting our IC Government customer(s) by primarily performing evaluation and providing performance/compliance assessment of many of their major/top programs and/or internal operations wide.

Qualifications Required:
  • Clearance: TS/ SCI Clearance: Current and active with polygraph is a requirement. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree from an accredited university with a minimum 9+ years of related experience.
  • Experience: Strong experience in Master Planning, Master Scheduling. Strong experience with Critical Pathing Methodologies (CPM).
  • Tools: Strong experience with Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, ProjectView, Milestone Professional, WBS Expert etc. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Solid experience with resource loading integrated logic networks (Labor, Materials, ODC's)
  • Experience in the integration of Cost/Schedule.
  • Thorough knowledge of Government reporting & compliance.
  • Experience with internal and/or joint surveillance.
  • Experience with full life-cycle development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Experience with associated Integrated Program Framework (IPF) artifacts including SOO, SOW, WBS Dictionaries, WBS/OBS, RAM, IMP, IMS and related.
  • Experience in aspects of scope management and work authorization, program scheduling processes and analysis, baseline change management, and variance analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) as related Monte Carlo methodologies.
  • Experience with related programmatic/life cycle reviews: ex. Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile based development and its relationship to scheduling
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Solid experience working both independently and collaboratively within a teaming structure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions that are based on objective assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Location: On-Site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Visual Basic
  • Understanding of Agile based development and its correlation to EVMS/IPM practice.
  • Familiarity with IPMR/IPMDAR requirements, and DCMA surveillance processes, including data driven surveillance as it relates to EVMS.
  • Experience with IPM/EV based internal surveillance processes and practices, DCMA surveillance reviews or other joint customer/contractor surveillance reviews.
  • Some experience using related Cost/EV tools such as Cobra, CostView or related.
  • Some experience using IPM/EV supporting tools such as Empower, WinSight and related.
  • Experience in training and process improvement.
