Job Description

Forge Forward is searching for a Project Manager to support a client in Charleston, SC. This position requires a minimum three (3) years of experience in project management with a preference for support for IT and C4I systems.

The Project Manager will assist the Program Manager in leading the daily operational execution and personnel management for a major contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project milestones are met while maintaining a rigorous standard for deliverable quality and total workforce readiness. You will serve as the primary point of contact for quality control and compliance. Experience with NIWC LANT contract management is a plus.

Functional Skills and Responsibilities:
• Deliverable Excellence: Review and finalize all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions for technical accuracy and professional formatting.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed reviews of weekly and monthly reports to ensure on-time, error-free delivery to the government.
• Compliance Management: Oversee and track Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) requirements and mandatory training and certification standards.
• Operational Liaison: Navigate NIWC LANT processes for streamlined employee onboarding, badging (SWAT/CAC), and system access.
• Program Support: Provide direct support to the Program Manager to track schedules, manage action items, and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Personnel Management: Participate in screening, interviewing, hiring, and orientation for new team members. Support the Program Manager in overall personnel management building a high-performing team.
• Office Management: Provide support for local office logistics to include scheduling conference rooms, managing vendor relationships, etc.
• Culture and Engagement: Coordinate local initiatives and events to foster collaboration among staff and government stakeholders to create a strong company culture.
• Technology Advancement: Work with internal corporate teams to develop new ways to implement the latest technologies for process improvement efforts.

Desired Skills:
• Technical Oversight: Exceptional ability to refine technical documentation and identify errors in data or logic.
• NIWC LANT Process Fluency: Direct experience with NIWC LANT administrative and security processes.
• Organizational Leadership: Ability to manate multiple priorities in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and project management tools (JIRA, MS Project). Experience with implementing AI is a plus.
• Communication: Proven ability to interface effectively with technical teams and senior government leadership.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field desired.

Certification Requirements:
• Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of DoDI 8570.01-M/8140 (CSWF) requirements desired.
• Professional Certifications: PMP or CAPM certification is highly regarded.
