Description:This position is with our Production Operations department located in Wichita, KS.
Responsible for all manufacturing aspects of various efforts. Will be required to submit manufacturing proposals/quotes, generate estimates, conduct manufacturing trades, develop manufacturing plans, track performance and execution of build efforts. In addition, will be required to coordinate with all pertinent organizations to execute build at LM Facilities and Key Partners. Will be responsible for preparing and delivering briefs to all levels of management regarding manufacturing efforts and proposals.
Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience using MS Office
-Program/Project Manufacturing experience
- Must have Aerospace manufacturing experience such as (metallic, non-metallic, electrical, assembly, or flight ops)
-Secret clearance required to apply
Desired Skills:
--8+ years of experience with Degree; 12+ yoe without degree
--Aircraft subsystems installation experience
--Manufacturing plan and start-up knowledge
--EVMS execution Knowledge
-- White, Green, or Black Belt Lean Training and Certification
-- Technical Degree
-- Problem Solving Skills
-- Self Starter
-- Manufacturing Proposal Writing and Manufacturing Plan development Experience
--High temp metallics or composites experience
--Knowledge of materials and their respective mechanical properties
--Design for Manufacturing / Design for Assembly experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
