Job Description
This position is responsible for administering security programs and procedures for classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment for an assigned area(s). The ACPSO/ACSSO will Initiate plans, projects, and develop a schedule to meet project goals. The ACPSO/ACSSO will respond to a variety of inquiries of complex and diverse problems using a comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. Government Industrial Security Programs (NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, DOD 5205.07 series, DOD 5200.01 series, ICD series) and a complete and thorough understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding National Security Information. Exercises considerable judgment to develop solutions while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on appropriate action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program. This position performs Security responsibilities regarding Special Access Programs (SAPs), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and National Industrial Security Program (NISP) including day-to-day coordination of program security disciplines with Program Management. Must possess the ability to identify issues and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems of diverse scope. Excellent communication, analytical, computer, and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to effectively interface, influence, and counsel employees, managers, and external contacts; analyze and interpret data; initiate and plan projects; produce appropriate clear, concise and detailed documentation; and present results to a variety of audiences. Must be able to work independently and on a team. Able to work extended hours and travel as required. May represent the company as the primary contact on external project(s).

- Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
- Administer and coordinate all aspects of security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information.
- Prepare, review, and submit personnel security access requests.
- Investigate and review all security violations, prepare reports, and recommend specific preventive and corrective action to be taken.
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Assist with receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility, including electronic data transfer.
- Prepare, review and process personnel security clearance requests.
- Implement visitor control procedures ensuring compliance with National Policy
- Maintain receipt and dispatch, document control, personnel records, and combination records.
- Assist in management of access control systems for the company and/or assigned business unit classified areas.
- Access, review and submit Program Access Request using JADE and other Government Systems as required.
- Maintain PERSEC forms and data in accordance with National Policy
- Assist with program indoctrinations and debriefings. Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
- Assist in preparation and submitting status reports to applicable government agencies, with review as appropriate from security management and/or Company management.
- Oversight of SAPs and SCI to include support development, review, and maintenance of program security documentation for SAP and SCI.
- Manage the annual inventory of accountable holdings in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and six or more years of professional classified security experience in a corporate or government environment. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must have experience with DOD processes and procedures or an equivalent regulatory environment and/or military training.
- CPSO or CSSO Security training/certificate(s) preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to manage internal and external record management systems (i.e. DISS, SIMS, JADE, Lenel)
