Job Description

Duties

  • You will manage daily Unaccompanied Housing (UH) and Public-Private Venture (PPV) operations while contributing to the highest level of mission readiness.
  • You will approve all requisitions for equipment, supplies and amenities. Responsible for the receipt and storage of all inventory, consumable, non-consumable, minor property and fixed assets.
  • You will prepare reports and presentations for higher authority and analyze, evaluate and implement instructions and notices from higher authority.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for the Property Manager to ensure good coordination on issues affecting the installation, residents, and PPV partner.
  • You will monitor PPV occupancy and help market Family Housing units to help ensure occupancy goals are met.
  • You will be responsible for Housing Referral Services for the placement of personnel in adequate housing and strive to obtain equal opportunity for all military personnel in community housing.
  • You will be responsible for employee accountability in both Unaccompanied and Public-Private Venture operations.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develops and implements plans for the renovation and recapitalization of Unaccompanied Housing (including Student Dormitories) facilities; 2) Manages the planned maintenance and upkeep of existing facilities of varied structural design, purpose, condition, and age; 3) Responsible for the conduct of all required surveys, reviews and inspections to determine current conditions and future requirements; 4) Ensures awareness of potential health and safety risks to residents in Public Private Venture (PPV) housing and engages in an advocate role for service members and families; 5) Plans, prioritizes, schedules and assigns work to staff directly and/or through subordinate supervisor based on difficulty of work and capabilities and grade level of staff; and 6) Responsible for the approval of work schedules, oversight and evaluation of acceptability of work performed by contractors, non-appropriated fund employees, and military members.
