Facilities Representative III

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the facilities department, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to internal inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and quality service delivery.
• Create and manage work orders, assign tasks to technicians and vendors, and track progress.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and staff to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and verify the status of work orders.
• Assist with budget preparation, process invoices, and ensure correct cost center coding.
• Independently research problems and potential solutions, analyzing data and information to inform decision-making and drive results.
• Track and maintain contracts, business partnerships, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate projects, inspections, maintenance, and repairs with contracted staff.
• Conduct regular building and property evaluations to ensure a professional appearance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain facility processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years or more related experience.
• Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software systems.
• Regularly required to listen, read, and speak.
• Frequently walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.
• Occasional use of stepstools and ladders.
• Ability to go up and down stairs to ensure emergency exits are properly maintained.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.

As this position requires operating a company vehicle, an offer and subsequent employment are contingent upon possessing and maintaining a valid US driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record review.

• Associate or bachelor's degree.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $48438 - $77500

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
