Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities and customer interactions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and/or vendors while following post orders for controlled entry and restricted area access.
• Support incident response by communicating with site contacts, public emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership, and maintain readiness to work in varying environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
• Have 3 or more years of experience in security-related roles, law enforcement, military police, or military service.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
