Integration and Test Engineer (Level 3) Los Angeles, CA
6-month contract
Pay: Up to $177.00/hr BOE.
Must be US Citizen and an active Secret DoD clearance

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration and Test Engineer (Level 3) to join their team to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects, ensuring the seamless assembly and testing of spacecraft, aircraft, and related systems. As a key member of their team, you'll collaborate with engineering and production teams on-site and, playing a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in complex hardware integration processes.

In this position, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining processes and procedures for the assembly and testing phases, coordinating integration activities with supervisors, program engineers, and customer organizations. You'll document hardware discrepancies, analyze root causes, and support the implementation of corrective actions. Additionally, you'll design and develop tooling to facilitate efficient integration and testing operations, driving continuous improvements in workflows.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in spacecraft or aircraft integration and test processes
  • Strong understanding of hardware assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to coordinate among multidisciplinary teams and customer stakeholders
  • Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in designing tooling and test fixtures
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to aerospace hardware
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with automation and test equipment design
  • Certification in systems, aerospace, or quality standards (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO)
  • Familiarity with software tools for configuration management and documentation
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant integration and testing experience in aerospace or defense environments
Other Requirements:
  • Active secret security clearances is required
  • On-site presence is mandatory; some travel may be required
