Systems Engineer II (DoD Cleared Infrastructure & Integration Su

We are supporting a DoD program seeking a cleared Systems Engineer to support system integration, infrastructure environments, and ongoing design efforts. This role will work alongside senior engineers to support system improvements, documentation, and operational alignment across a multi-technology environment.

This is a strong fit for someone with a solid engineering foundation who has had exposure to system design or architecture and is looking to continue building in that area.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration across network, hardware, and software environments
• Assist in developing and maintaining system design documentation and diagrams
• Work with senior engineers to evaluate and implement technical solutions
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and overall environment stability
• Ensure systems align with operational and interoperability requirements
• Analyze workflows and assist in identifying areas for improvement
• Support compliance with security and DoD standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)
• 3-5+ years of experience in systems, network, or infrastructure engineering
• Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments
• Exposure to system integration, documentation, or design efforts
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting design discussions or architecture efforts
• Familiarity with OSI model or system interoperability concepts
• Exposure to security practices or system hardening
