PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrician 3 to support the testing, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of complex electronic and electrical systems in a fast-paced aviation MRO environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment (oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and automated/custom test equipment)
• Troubleshoot and test electronic repair units
• Align and adjust advanced electronic components using established calibration procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Follow written procedures while using hand tools and measuring devices
• Utilize SAP and other MRO computer systems
• Participate on project teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with technicians, engineering, and leadership
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a safety-sensitive environment

✅ Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-secondary training)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Electronics background with 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing or service environments
• Proven experience troubleshooting electronic equipment
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• AAS degree in Electronics and/or prior military experience
• 2+ years experience with aviation electronic equipment repair or manufacturing
• Experience reviewing CMM and Service Bulletin (SB) documentation
• Strong testing and troubleshooting expertise

• FAA drug & alcohol testing (14 CFR Part 120)
• DOT regulations (49 CFR Part 40)
