PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrician 3 to support the testing, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of complex electronic and electrical systems in a fast-paced aviation MRO environment.

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrician 3 to support the testing, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of complex electronic and electrical systems in a fast-paced aviation MRO environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate precision test equipment (oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and automated/custom test equipment)
- Troubleshoot and test electronic repair units
- Align and adjust advanced electronic components using established calibration procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Follow written procedures while using hand tools and measuring devices
- Utilize SAP and other MRO computer systems
- Participate on project teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with technicians, engineering, and leadership
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a safety-sensitive environment
- High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-secondary training)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Electronics background with 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing or service environments
- Proven experience troubleshooting electronic equipment
- Electronics maintenance industry experience or education
- AAS degree in Electronics and/or prior military experience
- 2+ years experience with aviation electronic equipment repair or manufacturing
- Experience reviewing CMM and Service Bulletin (SB) documentation
- Strong testing and troubleshooting expertise
This position is FAA safety-sensitive. Employment is contingent upon compliance with:
- FAA drug & alcohol testing (14 CFR Part 120)
- DOT regulations (49 CFR Part 40)
