Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Information Technology Generalists to provide technical support for Navy information systems, networks, and infrastructure in support of NAVSEA Professional Support Services for Engineering Support.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides technical support for Navy information systems, networks, and communication infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Supports network operations, server administration, and system performance monitoring to ensure reliability and security of IT environments.
• Assists in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing system upgrades, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ensures compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements and supports the protection of system integrity and data security.

Here's what you need (Required Qualifications):

Junior:

• A high school degree, or a GED, and three (3) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR
  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, OR
  • a master's degree in a relevant field.

Mid:

• A high school degree, or a GED, and ten (10) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR
  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR
  • a master's degree in a relevant field.

Senior:

• A high school degree, or a GED, and more than twenty (20) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR
  • a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR
  • a master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area.

Bonus Points If You Have (Desired Qualifications):

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar credentials supporting enterprise IT environments.

Security Clearance:

• Interim or Active Secret

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with additional years of experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, as outlined under the required qualifications for the applicable level.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, on-site at the Navy Yard, Washington, D.C.

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000-190,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
