Chipton-Ross is seeking an Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 3/4 for a contract opportunity in Woodland Hills, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Basic Qualifications for Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 3:
o 5 Years with B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline, 3 Years with M.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline. o Active DoD Secret Level security clearance. o Experience in electrical testing, diagnostics, and formal requirements decomposition with traceability and verification. o Ability to diagnose complex issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and drive tasks to completion. o Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers. o Proficient in at least one of the following programming environments: MATLAB, C, C++, C#, and/or Python. o Demonstrated teamwork and leadership of small projects or teams. o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

looking for an Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 3/4 to support our Engineering and Sciences (E&S) organization in the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department. As a member of the SEIT department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. Responsibilities o The candidate will serve as an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel Program, requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment. Daily responsibilities may include:
o Support the installation, integration, and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices. o Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off. o Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead. o Collaborate with research scientists and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components. o Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment (both custom and COTS) and entire systems. o Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements. o Performing hands-on electrical testing at CCA level test setup and execution o Performing hands-on electrical testing at a systems level o Incorporating hardware and/or software design changes o Documenting & dispositioning hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance. o Experience creating automated test scripts that integrate with hardware interfaces. o Working knowledge of standard design components: filters, couplers, splitters, amplifiers, etc. o Experience working with operational hazards such as overhead lifting, Thermal Chambers, and Vibration Test systems o Experience with MES, or other digital work instruction platform. o Strong track record of driving innovation and spearheading digital-transformation initiatives in test workflows. o Experience engaging external customers through meetings, presentations, and technical negotiations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at Woodland Hills, CA campus. This position will be 100% on-site.
