Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Technical Analyst (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to obtain SAP clearances Experience with C++ Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion Agile SDLC methodology
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) software engineering team, the selected individual is responsible for supporting software test events and software capabilities for a variety of customers, both internal partners and external contracts. The selected Analyst will work closely with the customer and systems engineers to execute virtual simulation experiments. The analyst will be responsible for the configuration of various toolsets focused on virtual simulation and experimentation. The selected individual will be responsible for integration testing with industry partners. The primary toolset is the Virtual Interactive Simulation Environment (VISE) which is a suite of simulations, components, tools and interfaces which are responsible for the Operator in the Loop (OITL) real time simulation experiments at the VWC. This position is responsible for supporting large experimentation efforts and working closely with both government customers and the warfighter. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
As a member of the Virtual Warfare Center virtual simulation team the analyst will work with both the client development team and outside partners on a large scale federated simulation environment. As a member of this team the analyst will work with contracted partners to execute integration testing of various simulations and capabilities in the virtual environment. This position will be responsible for running after action review software during military operator debriefs following virtual test runs. This position will be responsible for maintaining simulation configuration files.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) standards Experience with operator in the loop real time simulation. Experience working autonomously in closed areas with little to no supervision Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to adapt and respond quickly to issues and events Strong team mentality and willingness to contribute
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT; 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
ADDITIONAL:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
