Embedded Software Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Embedded Software Engineers for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.

Experience in software engineering and software development.

Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively.

Knowledge and Experience with Embedded Linux.

Proficient in C++ programming.

Experience deploying, debugging, and Integrating Embedded Software on Hardware.

Candidate must be able to work on-site full-time.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded software for the missile programs. This role includes performing analysis of requirements, developing architecture and design, implementation, and integration with a goal of supporting flight testing of the Missile subsystem.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.

Experience designing ground system embedded software.

Experience with GitLab.

Software integration and verification experience.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Full-Time-4/10

ADDITIONAL:

Candidate must hold an active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
