Job Description
We are working with our client hiring field support and mission operators on applied DoD engineering projects deivering AI/Robotic software and systems.
What you’ll do:
You’ll work at the intersection of engineering and real-world operations, helping test and improve robotic ground, air, water software and AI systems in live environments.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll:
-Run field tests on robotic vehicles and systems, making sure they perform reliably outside of controlled environments
-Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems when things don’t work as expected
-Work directly with engineers to replicate problems, test fixes, and improve system performance
-Set up, operate, and monitor systems during test missions, ensuring everything is configured correctly and running as intended
-Collect and communicate clear feedback from the field to engineering teams to help refine system behavior
-Support rapid iteration cycles—test, break, fix, repeat
-Run forward deployed implementations for units in the field
