Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Sr. Principal Program Control Material EV Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Sr. Principal Program Control Material EV Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. Roles and Responsibilities
- Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Performing analysis and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses
- Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
- Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
- Direct, implement and maintain material high value / critical assessments
- Drive monthly EAC and annual CEAC update, justification, review, and implementation for material EOC across the Sentinel program
- Provide guidance and follow through execution on QBD development to CAMs and BM teams
- Partner with GSC organization to provide strategy and direction of material management including Y-groups, breakpoints, network assignment, etc.
- Assign WBS Elements to Y-groups for material networks
- Review and approve material transfers in SAP
- Participate as a member of the MRP Board for Business Management
- Lead BM action to support MMAS audits and ensure compliance to MMAS standards
- Guide CAMs & BM team on PR approval process
- Train Business Management and CAM Segment POCs on material EVMS processes and tools
- Manage material cost and schedule baseline implementation, management, and change control
- Review and approve material EVCRs
- Oversee the preparation of cost and schedule analysis and reporting, ensuring data delivered to internal and external customers is accurate and meets contractual requirements
- Provide input into proposal preparation, fact-finding, and contract negotiations as needed to ensure cost management issues are represented
- Participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance and surveillance activities
- Develop and maintain Price / Usage variance template and provide direction to CAMs on VAR creation for material
- Ensure EOC alignment between EVMS planning and SAP
- Identification and corrective actions for cost health metrics
Basic Qualifications
- Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
- Requires a bachelor's degree with 8 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience; 6 years with a master's degree; or 12 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
- Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel ( including Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and/or Macros)
- Requires experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
- Requires 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment
- Requires experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Requires experience supporting contracts with EVMS requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Experience working in Deltek Cobra
- Experience with MMAS, MRP, BOMs and support of production type contracts
- Strong analytical ability
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
