Description:What You Will Be Doing:
Candidate will act as the F-35 MUO Planning and Integration's, Modification Retrofit Engineer (MRE) at the sustainment area in Fort Worth, TX. Primary task is to support for first aircraft installation of F-35 modifications during prototype/verification/validation events. Candidate should possess solid background in F-35 structural, Vehicle and Mission System functionality and operation. Will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) leading the coordination and execution of the modification event. Author (step-by-step instructions) as required by released engineering to perform the entirety if the modification change request. Perform analysis of engineering drawing, process specifications, mod parts lists, and required supplemental data, to support the modification/retrofit as defined by the Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD). Direct coordination with senior leadership, government Lightening Support Team (LST), and Joint Program Office (JPO) representatives to capture deficiencies within all artifacts supporting the specific modification. Responsible for compiling post verification findings to develop government verification certification form documentation. Lead Mod Execution Review and event "kickoff" with site leadership, Joint Program Office (JPO), LST, and Lockheed Martin onsite representatives. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality are required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement-oriented mindset. Superior interpersonal skills are required to enable effective interaction with seniors and peers while promoting an F-35 "Joint Team" environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a US Citizen - Work location requires special access.
• Familiarity with airframe, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications
• Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite at a proficient level.
Desired Skills:
• Prior military service at multiple levels of fighter aircraft maintenance, logistics, and support.
• Familiarity with engineering and logistics systems like that of (PDM-Product Data Manager, JDL-JSF Data Library, VAS-Visual Augmentation System, QADS-Quality Assurance Document).
• Experience developing Fleet Modification planning instructions.
• Superior interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with senior leadership, customers and peers promoting and F-35 Joint Team environment.
• Ability to work with a diverse internal and external customer base on a variety of F-35 Modification assignments.
• Must be able to work overtime and travel, as required, to support global verification/proofing events and other F-35 Fleet Modification activity as required.
• Experience with Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
• Proficient in Solumina Database

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
