Description:
You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for providing quality-engineering expertise to support the program's quality objectives, developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures, and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's level degree or higher in STEM
- Prior Mechanical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods,
work instructions and procedures for the inspection of
manufactured and procured products.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop
and apply quality test, inspection methods and work
instructions.
- Hands on experience dealing with inspection of
hardware and rework / repair of hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.
- Experience in disposition of non-conforming products.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening,
technical writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building
and collaboration.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection
gages or measuring equipment.
- AS9100 interpretation, application experience, and
compliance auditing.
- Experience with performing First Article Inspections to
AS9102 requirements.
- Experience working with Government customers and
suppliers in a sustainment environment.
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for
identifying process improvement.
- Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
- Experience developing quality standards, methods,
work instructions and procedures for the inspection of
manufactured products.
- ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green
Belt / Black Belt).
- Experience in updating planning and work instructions.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
