Description:You will be the Electrical Engineer for our Precision Fires Component Assessment Group (CAG) team within the Quality and Mission Success organization. Our team is responsible for ensuring compliance to our Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) plan. Our team is also responsible for mitigating risks associated with Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
What You Will Be Doing
As the CAG Engineer you will be responsible for managing compliance to all areas of the PMP plan. You will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing and recording DMSMS data to help mitigate risk to product sustainment. You will collaborate with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure all required standards are implemented and met throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Support all issues related to PMP and risk mitigation around nonconformances to the PMP plan
-Collect and analyze DMSMS data for OEMs, COTS items, components and software products
-Conducting scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product validations at suppliers
-Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions
-Participating in supplier failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
-Performing ongoing surveillance of supplier conformance to Lockheed Martin requirements
-Providing technical liaison support for Quality Engineering matters

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Ability to travel (up to 25%)
-Electrical Engineering degree at Bachelor's Level or higher
-Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a secret clearance
-Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standard and implementation of Quality Management System
-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of electronic assemblies
-Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing , materials and processes used in EEE parts
-Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective action planning
-Proficient Skill level with Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Desired Skills:
-Diminished Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) processes and requirements knowledge.
-Experience with component level testing to military specifications and engineering requirements
-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
-Previous Quality Engineering or Electrical Engineering experience
-Experience with control and disposition of nonconforming material
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
