We are seeking a Project Leader 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

We are seeking a Project Leader 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, integration, and lifecycle delivery of enterprise network infrastructure and communications systems at multiple facilities throughout the United States.
- Establish and implement procedures, standards, and controls to ensure network installation and modernization projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical, operational, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Manage project site managers, field supervisors, and technical teams responsible for network deployment activities.
- Interface with customer personnel and respond to technical, operational, and schedule-related issues and concerns.
- Manage subcontractors and oversee their performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and project milestones.
- Perform site surveys and technical assessments to validate network requirements, infrastructure readiness, and system compatibility.
- Conduct design reviews for structured cabling, LAN/WAN environments, network electronics, communications rooms, backbone infrastructure, and related low-voltage systems.
- Prepare installation proposals, project schedules, and execution plans for network infrastructure projects.
- Oversee warranty support and post-installation service activities for completed network implementations.
- Prepare status reports, executive updates, and customer briefings on project progress, risks, and technical performance.
- Run day-to-day operations of a project or a defined subsection of a project.
- Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution of scope, schedule, and cost impacts. Price, track, and manage change orders.
- Plan and monitor cash flow against project expenses.
- Maintain as-builts and network documentation as work is completed.
- Document project issues, field conditions, and technical constraints.
- Plan and execute project closeout activities, including completion, testing, turnover, and punch list resolution.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Read and interpret drawings, network diagrams, one-lines, rack elevations, floor plans, and project specifications.
- Research and compile submittals; price change orders; and prepare estimates for partially designed projects by completing the design approach and developing a full project estimate.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as installation procedures, technical issues, customer concerns, and construction-related problems.
- Communicate with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public, the government, and general contractor representatives.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
- A minimum of ten years of experience in the design, installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and communications systems is required. Within this timeframe, at least five years of experience managing nationwide network installation projects on federal government contracts is required.
- 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (BS)
- Experience managing network infrastructure or communications projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
- Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Experience using project management, CPM scheduling, cost control, and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and network infrastructure documentation.
- Familiarity with standard project deliverables and work processes.
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to take ownership of issues and drive resolution.
- Proven ability to effectively plan and organize personal work and the work of others.
- Attention to detail.
- Exceptional MS Excel skills.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project preferred.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in core network infrastructure disciplines.
- Experience with structured cabling systems, switching and routing environments, network equipment installation, and communications infrastructure strongly preferred.
