Location: Hybrid - Remote with On-Site Support as Required (DOT-HQ)
Clearance: Public Trust/ Ability to pass Federal Background Investigation

Position Overview:
MirLogic Solutions is seeking a Database Developer to support the design, development, and integration of data systems within a low-code BOAT platform environment. This role will support high-volume data ingestion, storage, and integration across FMCSA mission systems and external data sources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable database solutions in a cloud environment (AWS VPC)
• Support data integration across internal and external systems via APIs
• Develop data models supporting case management, workflows, and analytics
• Enable secure storage and retrieval of structured and unstructured data
• Support ingestion of large datasets (reports, images, video, inspection data)
• Optimize database performance for high-volume concurrent users
• Support DevSecOps pipeline integration for data systems
• Ensure compliance with federal data security and privacy requirements (PII handling)
• Assist in system ATO documentation and compliance
Required Qualifications:
• 5-8+ years of database development experience
• Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with BOAT or low-code platforms
• Experience with API integrations and data exchange architectures
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning
• Experience handling large datasets and high-throughput systems
• Preferred experience supporting federal systems or regulated environments
