- You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
- You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
- You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
- You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.
- You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on the Department of Navy policy and develop and issue implementation procedures.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
