Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Check Clearance Required in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help to protect people, property, and sensitive operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures, visitor processing requirements, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other access-related activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or contacting designated personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including restricted areas and perimeter points, as directed by post orders and operational needs.
• Support security-related screening, badging, and reporting functions that help to deter unauthorized access within a regulated aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
