This role is pivotal in transforming business requirements into actionable data processes, ensuring data integrity and quality across various platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Eligibility for Reliability Status Clearance, requiring a minimum of 5 years of continuous residence in Canada.
• 8-10 years of overall ETL development experience in a large IT organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of strong hands-on development experience in Informatica PowerCenter and at least 2 years in IICS IDMC.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries using databases like Oracle and MS SQL for data sources and visualization.
• Solid knowledge and experience with SQL and relational platforms (Oracle or SQL Server).
• Experience working within a cross-functional agile team (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe) to provide client delivery.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and experience with project management tools such as BitBucket and Jira.
• Very good communication and client management skills with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to negotiate and influence others to obtain desired results.
• Strong professional consulting skills and the ability to speak in business terms, as well as effectively communicate both internally and externally.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.
• Mature, confident, and performance-oriented disposition.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform overall system design development for applying Informatica capabilities to meet business requirements following best practices.
• Analyze data using measurement techniques, draft KPIs, and build data sources, reports, and dashboards to address business questions.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand business problems and design ETL systems based on business requirements.
• Prepare design, review sign-off related documentation, training, and support for users at different levels.
• Translate detailed specifications into Informatica IICS ETL process design.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and document ETL processes.
• Meet business requirements and deliver required code following industry best practices with complete hands-on involvement.
• Accomplish ETL processes with scripting languages such as VB, Shell, or Perl scripts.
• Utilize SQL, scripts, and other tools to assist with solution development.
• Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality, and program quality.
• Assist with troubleshooting of ETL processes in Quality Assurance, SIT, or Production environments.
• Using Agile approach, work closely with software developers, architects, business analysts, designers, and clients' representatives to define the direction and approach to design and development.
• Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business users and prepare and deliver presentations to business users.
