Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
7+ years of recent hands on C programming new and rework software. 3+ years of recent python experience. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicant will be a software engineer responsible for embedded software design, development and integration to support real-time embedded Vehicle System software project for a Skunk Works program. The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Vehicle System team. Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs. Responsible for working within a team to help correct any software program errors, prepare instructions, compile documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of software program intent, output requirements, input data, programming techniques, and controls.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelors degree in STEM.

Full-Time-4/10
ADDITIONAL:
Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
