Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technician for a contract opportunity in Ocala, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- 1- 3 years of hands on work performing calibrations and certifications on electro static discharge (ESD) control equipment and related instrumentation.
- 1 year of dedicated experience with floor mat testing and monitor verification.
- 1 year of experience calibrating and certifying soldering/rework stations.
- Ability to read and interpret calibration certificates, work orders, and test procedures.
- Proficiency spreadsheet tracking, and calibration management software.
- Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20.
- Use of hand held ESD testers to measure surface resistance (106 10? O) and charge decay.
- 1 year of experience calibrating and certifying soldering/rework stations.
- Use of calibrated thermocouples or IR pyrometers to verify set points ±2 °C.
- Experience with profiling software.

- 4/10-1st Shift.

- Candidate must have the ability to Obtain a secret clearance, not needed to start.
