Avionic Technician

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

6+ years of solid electrical/AVI experience. Manager will consider candidates with 4 years of Recent Aircraft experience but they MUST have relevant fighter jet experience

Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred with Avionics/Electrical Experience

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Active Secret Clearance preferred,

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for Flight Operations, testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness.

You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area team.

You will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.

Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time

4/10 work schedule

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training

1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM

2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
