ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IIIGDIT has an opportunity to support the Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO) Family of Systems as a Software Support Representative at Fort Eustis, VA. Must have a current and active Secret Clearance.Meaningful work and impact:

• CASI/VSAT configuration, troubleshooting, and operation are needed for this position.
• Provides field support for the Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) at Unit or Installation level Support activities.
• Provides over the shoulder technical assistance or training, troubleshooting, software installation, software updates, and software fixes.
• Capable of performing software, hardware, network troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
• Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
• Performing analysis of system operations.

What you'll need to be successful:

• AA/AS, 3+ years' experience (2 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Must have a current and active secret clearance.
• Must have Security+ CE certification
• Must have CASI/VSAT configuration, troubleshooting, and operation experience.
• Must have Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintenance experience.
• Have a basic understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
• Has a basic knowledge of client and server software interaction including web-based application design, support, and integration.
• Willing to travel to other customer locations

Military experience is desired but not required. (Target MOS: 25B Series or 92A)Familiar with the following Systems:

• Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-A)
• Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS)
• Combat Service Support Very Small Aperture Terminal (CSS VSAT)
• Combat Service Support Automated Information Systems Interface (CAISI)
• Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movement System II (TC- AIMS II)
• Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS)
• Desktop Touch Support for Admin Computer Systems.
