Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Manufacturing Engineers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Level 3: 5 + years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems. Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency. Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering Composite Fabrication experience Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers Experience with 3D model based instruction Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT: These positions are for both 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates must be open to both shifts and will be assigned one or the other at time of offer.
