In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Security Consultant, you will help clients understand key security and privacy issues and develop programs to meet business needs. You will use workshops and assessments to identify security and privacy risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Assist Clients with Security Issues: Learn about and support clients in understanding key security and privacy concerns, and participate in developing programs to address their business needs. • Participate in Workshops and Assessments: Engage in workshops and assessments to help clients identify security and privacy risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities, and observe how to develop strategies to mitigate them. • Explore Secure Solutions: Contribute to architecting secure solutions to address specific security and privacy requirements, and explore ways to optimize existing solutions.

Currently pursuing a degree in:
* Systems Engineering / Computer Science
* Telematics / Networking
* Information Security / Cybersecurity
* Software Engineering
* Information Technology (IT)
* Mathematics / Statistics

Hardskills:
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, DNS)
* Basic security concepts (CIA triad, malware, phishing)
