Job Description
A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required at start, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Summary:
• Design, develop, and integrate custom software solutions and open-source components within cloud and Linux environments.
• Manage and optimize virtual infrastructure, leveraging container orchestration and configuration management tools.
• Implement and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and collaborative tools for efficient project planning and execution.
• Engage with Big Data technologies and scripting for system automation and data processing.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 9+ years
Salary: $224k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and integrate custom software solutions using languages such as Go.
• Administer and manage Linux operating systems and virtualized environments (VMWare).
• Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms with Kubernetes.
• Develop and deploy solutions leveraging cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet for infrastructure as code.
• Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Gitlab and Jenkins/Hudson.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies, utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence for project collaboration.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash for system tasks.
• Work with Big Data technologies and cloud repositories, including Hadoop.
• Contribute to software architecture design and development best practices.
• Ensure system security best practices are applied throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage source code version control using Git.
