IPTA is seeking an Applications Team Lead to lead software development and application support teams for Army enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC), and experience managing Agile development teams in DoD environments.

Position Summary
IPTA is seeking an Applications Team Lead to lead software development and application support teams for Army enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC), and experience managing Agile development teams in DoD environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead application development and support teams (10-20 personnel)
- Manage full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies and coach team members
- Coordinate application releases and change management
- Ensure application security and compliance with DoD standards
- Collaborate with Government product owners on requirements and priorities
- Manage application backlogs and sprint planning
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards compliance
- Coordinate with DevSecOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Track and report on application metrics and team performance
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Mentor and develop junior developers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of application development experience
- Minimum 3 years in team leadership role
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, or modern web frameworks
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Active Security Clearance Required
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Experience supporting Army ERP or logistics systems
- Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure)

- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
