Job Description

Duties
Help
  • Serves as a senior analyst for customer support, liaison and administration of support agreements, Basis of Estimate (BOE) for corporate business proposals and new business proposals for customer requirements to existing workload.
  • Monitors and analyzes customer workload utilization and revenue projections to ensure sufficient funding is provided by DISA customers. Assists cust. in defining functional and technical requirements and documents facts and informs interested parties
  • Monitors implementation and compliance with the agreements between the organization and customer and/or supplier. Acts as the point of contact for information concerning current or proposed agreements and as a liaison within the organization
  • Plans and executes management studies and analyses of organization operations and program for the purpose of providing expert customer support and developing strategies based on DISA information technology services functional capabilities.
  • Serves as action officer for assigned, continuing and one-time projects. These assignments have a significant impact on DISA, DoD Customers and others in the information services community.

  • In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months.
Qualifications

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.

Specialized experience is defined as: Developing and using financial models to review annual budgets, forecast budget execution, process funding documents and collections, and manage spend plan; experience presenting findings and recommendations to various stakeholders in both written and oral communications; OR experience using various software applications, like Microsoft Excel, to identify and resolve financial problems.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level
