As a Portfolio Analyst with MTSI, you will be responsible to support in leveraging established pathways between the innovation ecosystem, test, evaluation, acquisitions, and sustainment. You will interact daily with Air Force innovation project managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) supporting Department of War (DOW) customers. Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Develop briefing materials, narratives, and analytical products based on the direction of the Government Program Manager, tailored to address unique higher headquarters capability needs where no prior templates or established guidance exists.
- Design and establish study guidance and detailed study plans to support analysis efforts, ensuring all necessary requirements to be analyzed are clearly defined.
- Serve as a liaison by effectively communicating and interfacing with prime contractors, subsystem suppliers, and relevant government stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
- Bridge communication gaps and foster collaboration between end-users, requirement writers, testers, program offices, and senior leaders to ensure alignment and effective partnerships.
- Perform foundational systems engineering activities, including acquisition risk assessment, requirements development, schedule creation and oversight, and the development and management of action items.
Qualifications Required:
- 10 years' experience working as a Project Manager or in a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of the organizational mission and interfaces with intelligence, Major Commands, Air Staff, DoD laboratories, and support agencies.
- The ability to develop and give effective oral presentations and to effectively communicate in writing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in an Analytic-related field (i.e. Operations research, engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or statistics).
Even better if you have these desired skills:
- Experience in portfolio or project management in a Department of War (DOW) or industry organization.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
