• Maintain accounting records/subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, collections, payments, income, liabilities, payroll, assets, and equipment.
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities.
• Determines that all transactions are properly processed, and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables.
• Analyses and reviews report and machine listing to assure they are in balance and in proper format and sort sequence, that accounting data is valid and that it adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures.
• Classifies erroneous conditions referring complex errors/problems to the accountant.

• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 (Secret) Investigation.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3.
• PER AR 380-67, NON-US CITIZENS WILL NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED T3 (SECRET) INVESTIGATION, THEREFORE, WILL BE UNABLE TO QUALIFY UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• Work experience performing accounting support duties as described above.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• At least 9 semester hours of accounting. *** Transcripts must be uploaded at time of application.
• At least 3 years of NAF accounting experience. *** Experience must be reflected on resume to receive credit.

Allowances and Differentials

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
