What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify badges and credentials, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies and post orders.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity, and support investigations involving policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or potential threats.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
