Software Engineer Expert

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Software Engineer Expert Level for a great opportunity in Key West, FL.x26nbsp;

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance is required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Establishes application and system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
• Perform total mission application engineering function, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products.
• Determines and identifies high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture.
• Designs mission application architecture to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements for applications and software updates or upgrades.
• Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams.
• Makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations.
• Assist in defining, analyzing, documenting, and implementing new user interfaces and customer access features. Update and maintain specific rules for processing network event data.
• Assist in providing software support for COTS applications as required to support the network interoperability requirements and to improve system functionality and usability to support the customer-owned applications.
• Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms.
• Resolves highly complex and multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of the project/program.
• Leads the development of highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field.

Requirements

TS with active SCI clearance is required.

• 15 years of relevant experience supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Proficient with System and Software Engineering deliverable and documentation methodologies.
