Position Summary

Flightline Escorts provide escort services in highly sensitive restricted areas, including active airfield and flightline environments, and are responsible for ensuring compliance with airfield safety and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Escort personnel within active flightline and restricted airfield zones
• Maintain 100% situational awareness of flightline hazards
• Enforce compliance with flightline safety rules and security procedures
• Inspect vehicles and equipment entering the flightline
• Coordinate closely with Airfield Management as required
• Prevent unauthorized access, sabotage, or intelligence collection activities

Required Qualifications

• Tier‑1 (NACI) background investigation (current and in scope)
• Valid Misawa Air Base Restricted Area Badge (RAB)
• Designation under the 35th Fighter Wing Escort Program
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Ability to qualify for and maintain flightline driving privileges (max 3 attempts)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of working extended hours in construction and flightline environments
• Valid Flightline Driving Privileges
• Demonstrated competence working in high-risk aviation environments
• Ability to respond quickly to dynamic flightline conditions
