*THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*

SOSi is seeking a Project Logistics and Property Manager to join our team supporting our customer in Caracas, Venezuela. This position is responsible for the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment, and serves as the technical advisor on all property management matters. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
• Manage, monitor, and track property based on site location, type, and usage.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all property.
• Maintain and update property records.
• Serve as the Contractor's principal property management representative ensuring all task order requirements are met.
• Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
• Supervise and manage property staff.
• Inspect property to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
• Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements.
• Plan and manage projects.
• Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff.
• Resolve property-related issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active Secret Government Security Clearance.
• Five (5) years of property and logistics management experience compatible with program requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Public Administration, or related discipline; or at least ten (10) years of direct experience in property and logistics management in lieu of formal education.
• Intermediate-level certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Certified Property Professional Administrator (CPPA) from NPMA) is preferred/required as applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory systems and property accountability.
• Experience managing staff and coordinating logistics operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Information

Work Environment

• Working conditions include a combination of an office environment and outdoor activities. Outside working conditions include potential exposure to extreme high temperatures, dry and dusty conditions.
• Required PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
• Lifts and carries all types of working materials and equipment of the trade depending on the assignment.
