HX5 is currently seeking a BMC Remedy Architect Principal to support the HNIB-CSCS Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications. Primary technical resource for integration points into all EITSM environments, i.e., Active Directory, AF Directory Services.
• Troubleshoot architecture BMC technical issues pertaining to F5, Unix, Windows, Solaris.
• Work with foundation data for proper implementation to ensure system architecture remain viable.
• Articulate in detail the BMC system configurations to support the ETISM Program Requirements.
• Work with cross-organizational engineers from various teams that report to and receive direction from other customers of the EITSM system. This interaction ranges from a peer-to-peer review and from an overall code review on their requirements.
• Understand the business of IT operations, Business Service Management and foundational level of ITIL.
• Utilize skills and knowledge to improve the operational effectiveness of efficiency of the IT environment.
• Define, write, and deliver specifications, user guides, and architecture and methodology as appropriate to meet project deadlines.
• Program, test, document, and implement systems and/or software prior to release.
• Research routine to moderately complex work and customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provides recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments.
• Utilize knowledge of AF RMF to provide artifacts, system remediation to support AF Authority to Operate.
• Articulate best business practices and streamline system application and architecture as EITSM migrates to new versions.

Salary: This position is expected to pay $ $118,000-$166,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Education and Experience:

Must have the following combination of education and experience:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of BMC AR experience
• ITSM certifications required
• BMC Certified Professional -|‑ The BMC Certified Professional level verifies all required skills to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot our products.
• BMC Certified Associate -|‑ The BMC Certified Associate levels validate the knowledge and skills needed apply best practices on BMC solutions.
• ITIL v3 Foundations
• BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Incident and Problem Management or higher
• BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Asset Management and Discovery or higher

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
