What You'll be Owning
- Corporate Technical Capabilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's technical capabilities and ongoing development initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) when required, providing insights and guidance on technical matters.
- Solution Architecture Development
- Lead the end-to-end development of solution architectures that are both achievable by the company and usable by customers.
- Manage complex and competitive opportunities from the initial concept phase through to solution development.
- Opportunity Evaluation
- Assess opportunity requirements, ranging from capture estimates to final customer requests.
- Develop a technical vision for success that aligns with current and projected corporate capabilities.
- Identify potential teammates and partners to enhance solution development.
- Technical Accountability
- Act as the single point of technical accountability for solutions throughout the capture process, ensuring alignment with customer needs and corporate goals.
- Team Leadership
- Build, manage, and lead cross-functional teams composed of subject matter experts, operational experts, and business development professionals.
- Collaborate closely with Capture and technical/operational leadership to shape compliant and competitive solutions.
- Proposal Development Support
- Support the proposal development process as needed, which includes authorship, participation in color team reviews, and overseeing final proposal production.
- Independent Research and Development (IRAD)
- Identify, propose, and lead IRAD initiatives that support corporate technical roadmaps and anticipated opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
What You Must Have
- Security Clearance : Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- Experience : A minimum of 20 years of experience in developing solutions that meet customer requirements and align with long-term corporate goals.
- Leadership : Proven experience in leading technical teams effectively.
- Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of engineering disciplines, Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, and competitive dynamics within the industry.
- Strategic Thinking : Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to develop a compelling technical vision.
- Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior customers and industry stakeholders.
- Educational Background : A bachelor's degree in technical or engineering discipline is required.
