Job Description
Piper Companies is looking for a PMHS (Post-Mortem Human Subjects) Specialist 4 to join a federal research support company located in Dale County, Alabama.
Responsibilities of the PMHS (Post-Mortem Human Subjects) Specialist 4 include:
· Providing hands-on and administrative support for daily operations within a medical research laboratory performing cadaveric injury biomechanics research
· Managing PMHS chain of custody, documentation, inventory, storage, imaging, and handling in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidance
· Supporting cadaver acquisition, research planning, execution, post-test activities, and laboratory clean-up
· Maintaining laboratory safety, biosafety compliance, SOP development, training, and regulatory documentation
Qualifications for the PMHS (Post-Mortem Human Subjects) Specialist 4 include:
· Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance
· Hands-on experience in human anatomy, physiology, dissection, cadaveric research, biomechanics research, and related STEM coursework
· Ability to work independently in an onsite laboratory environment and collaborate with military, government, and contractor personnel
Compensation for PMHS (Post-Mortem Human Subjects) Specialist 4 includes:
· Rate Range: $43-$48/hr, depending on experience
· Comprehensive Benefit Package: Cigna Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as Required by Law
