You will be the AI Research Engineering - Operations (Level 2) for the AI Solutions Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that accelerate Lockheed Martin programs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or other related discipline
• Proficiency in Python, including experience with ML and data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikitlearn, TensorFlow OR PyTorch)
• Demonstrated experience building LLM-integrated applications or agentic AI pipelines (e.g.,
LangChain, Langflow, HuggingFace Transformers OR OpenAI API)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into
structured technical requirements
Desired Skills:
• Master's Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Information & Data Science, Computer Science,
Systems Engineering)
• Experience working within defense manufacturing, supply chain, or quality operations
• Experience in applied research and presenting research findings to diverse audiences
• Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development in ambiguous, fast-moving
environments
• Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams or cross-functional working groups
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement background
• Active Secret clearance or higher
