Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX supporting the PrSM program. The position will require working flexible hours with some travel to support Lockheed Martin production sites and suppliers across the United States. Our team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure the production of high-quality materials and products.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality engineering efforts, developing and implementing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement in our processes and products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Reviewing contractual documents in detail to identify requirements and risks
• Leading quality engineering efforts and developing quality standards
• Ensuring compliance with customer's regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and products
• Analyzing and resolving complex quality issues

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise (up to 25% travel)
-Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
-STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
-Understanding of contract documents and requirements.
-Understanding engineering drawings requirements, mechanical and electrical inspection methods, and industry specs.
-Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
-Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
-Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
Desired Skills:
-Previous Engineering or Quality Assurance Experience
-Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection
-Experience with AS9145 APQP & PPAP
-Experience with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B
-Experience with IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity
-Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma
-Experience in Dispositioning Non-conformances
-Experience with Process Capability Analysis
-Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support effective communication across multiple functions and to customer.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
