THE WORK
The Project engineer will have the responsibility to work with the Deployment Team (Integrated Fielding Team) leadership, mainly supporting Task Order 06, but also in supporting all C2BMC Task Orders, to manage, coordinate, and oversee the cross Agile Release Train and Cross Functional Product Team efforts associated with current and upcoming C2BMC Spiral release (software and hardware) deployments. The Project Engineer will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, Engineering Change Proposals and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support development of Task Order IMS objective evidence (schedule), the collection of IMS status accounting, and will support cross spiral de-confliction, cross Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution. Support presentations/reviews of program performance for internal and Customer management. Support maintaining schedule baseline control processes to maximize schedule integrity.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
-Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee cross Functional Area efforts associated with both the Development and Sustainment lifecycle management, with emphasis on Deployment (Install and Integration) activities.
-Experience with project planning, developing and maintaining schedule & capturing performance. Experience working within a team and anticipating needs. Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the following: Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Deployment (install/integration). Experienced in developing & managing project teams and schedules. Experience in Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work multiple projects concurrently; strong oral and written communication skills; team player, able to multi-task and prioritize; self-starter and problem-solver; ability to adapt, learn quickly on the job, and be proactive in the midst of vague or limited guidance.
This position may require periodic travel ( Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
