Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is seeking a Principal Program Manager to support the WIW Wedgetail Division within PEO ISR-SOF, with primary emphasis on the ACIP Program (Advanced Comms). This role supports AWACS and Wedgetail modernization initiatives and focuses on delivering acquisition program management support across cost, schedule, performance, and risk management functions for mission-critical airborne communication systems.
Responsibilities
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, the selected candidate will provide expert-level acquisition and program management support to Government leadership, ensuring mission success through disciplined execution, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and coordination across stakeholders, contractors, and operational users.

- Provide acquisition program management support to Program Managers and IPT Leads.
- Help execute cost, schedule, and performance objectives across programs.
- Analyze program health and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with acquisition strategies, technical planning, and risk assessments.
- Support Government program offices and contractors during development execution.
- Prepare and review RFPs, SOWs, SRDs, and CDRLs.
- Review acquisition documents such as APBs, LCSPs, ADMs, milestone briefings, and risk plans.
- Prepare reports required under DoDI 5000 guidance.
- Support Monthly Activity Reports, DAES, SARs, and Acquisition Baselines.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and risk board support.
- Correlate EVM data with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Track contractor deliverables and schedules.
- Support Middle Tier Acquisition and Urgent Capability acquisition efforts.
- Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and contractor proposals.
- Support funding actions using PRs, MIPRs, Purchase Orders, CCaR, IDECS, and EDA.
- Prepare executive briefings, graphics, and program status updates.
- Support Mission Planning Environment (MPE) program execution.
- Ensure capabilities align to aircraft testing and OFP schedules.
- Advise leadership on DoD and Air Force acquisition policy.
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have an be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD, OR,
- 30 years directly related experience, 20 years of which must be in the DoD.
- DoD acquisition processes and documentation (DoDI 5000)
- Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Risk management and mitigation planning
- Acquisition documentation (RFPs, SOWs, SRDs, CDRLs, APBs, LCSPs, ADMs)
- Funding and financial execution tools (PRs, MIPRs, CCaR, IDECS, EDA)
- Program reporting (DAES, SARs, Monthly Activity Reports)
- Ability to advise senior leadership on acquisition strategy and policy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive briefings
- Ability to coordinate across Government, contractors, and operational users
- Leadership in Integrated Product Team (IPT) environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
